The NSA of USC is run by student volunteers who are enrolled in the Bachelor of Nursing Science and Bachelor of Nursing Science Graduate entry degrees. Currently we have two groups working out of Sippy Downs and Caboolture campuses however, we are looking to expand to other campuses in the near future.
We work alongside academic staff, other USC health groups, as well as the USC Nursing and Midwifery Alumni group. We exist for the purpose of providing peer-based support, underlined with accurate and evidence-based information. Our goal is to foster a sense of community and support for students by running events and activities to aid the learning, career advancement and social support of the cohort. Come along, learn new ideas, meet new people, make friends, develop skills and attend engaging and informative sessions… and there is usually pizza to share! We would love to hear from you and always welcome new members!
