Sunshine Coast Pride Fair

February 25, 2017

What a stunning day we had up in the beautiful town of Eumundi.

Our Oweek trip was a sell-out seeing 27 people board our bus of fun at 8am from campus and we headed up the Bruce to the Sunshine Coast’s Pride festival which was nestled into one of Australia’s best markets: Eumundi Markets.

We strolled the shadowy lanes of the markets , enjoyed the colourful entertainment at the Pride stage, ate delicious foods and chillaxed at the local pubs.

We had the pleasure of enjoying the vibes and quality coffee at the Deadly Espresso (if you are planning a trip to Eumundi, go there! This place is magical). Terry and her team have created a café with a soulful vision designed to empower and support Indigenous enterprise. Did I mention the menu is remarkable?

Thank you to the Sunshine Coast Rainbow Network and USC’s very own Marj Blowers for providing the Sunny Coast with this great event.
