Emergency Food Bank FAQ

No need to stress if the budget has left you without the basics. At the Student Guild we have you covered. Each semester you are welcome to drop in and grab a bag of supplies to make your life a little easier. If you are experiencing significant hardship we are more than happy to support you further. We can offer external and internal referrals to other networks if needed. We are here for you.

What kind of stuff do we stock?

We have all kinds of things including toothbrushes, personal items, feminine products, long life milk, pasta, and other basic meal items.

How many times can I get access to the Emergency Food Bank?

Twice per semester. If you need more support, we are happy to help. We just want to sit down with you first and make sure you are being taken care of, as well as arrange any other referrals that you may need!

How can I access the Emergency Food Bank?

If you are on Sippy Downs campus, simply drop in to Guild HQ in J Block and we will make a pack for you on the spot! If you are on one of UniSC's other campus, download the intake form here and email it to WelfareStudentGuild@usc.edu.au.

What if I need help with my budget?

No problem! Our Welfare Officer is super keen to help you out. We are here to offer a non-judgmental, non-intrusive approach to helping you find better ways to come out on top with your budget.

We run group workshops or you can book a 1:1 appointment by emailing WelfareStudentGuild@usc.edu.au or calling 5430 3769.
